On Sunday, Oct. 15:
Children Age 4 through Grade 5
All children should BYOB (Bring Your Own Bulb) to be planted outside at church during Children’s Worship. Please send your child with a tulip, daffodil, or crocus bulb. Come Springtime we will all smile!
We value the participation of our children in the worship of the whole church--AND, we want them to be able to worship in ways that honor their unique stage of life.
Every Sunday kids age 4 through grade 5 begin worship with the whole congregation in the sanctuary. Then they ather together in the Upper Room for their own kid-oriented, large-group worship time including music, scripture, offering and prayer. The scripture theme will connect to the scripture for Bible time on Wednesday nights.
Every other week, the worship experience for grades 3-5 includes a special scripture learning time led by Kelly Quackenbush and assisted by junior high students.
Children's Worship is just that--worship for kids. They will explore scripture in the context of worship, but it's different from Sunday school. So we encourage you to also bring your kids for Rotation Sunday School at 9:30 a.m. where they will learn and explore the Bible and their relationship with God and God's people through fun workshops each week!
